It’s been a while since I’ve had the time to sit and write a blog post, but I have just finished editing a gorgeous, sun kissed engagement shoot for my friend and her new fiancé.
Because I know Beth, and have been friend with her since we were children, I knew shed be up for a bit of an adventure. Usually I plan where the shoot will be and go on a bit of a location scout before hand, but this time we all just pilled into our car and went for a drive.
I e driven through Woodhead pass a few times, usually on the way to the airport, and have always been mesmerised by the stunning landscape. I would call them mountains, but Stein who is from Wales insists they are just hills, but mountains sounds a bit more majestic 😉
We we fortunate enough to stumble across a few nice locations, got told off by a farmer for being on his land, and I cut my feet whilst shooting, but I think the pictures came out really well. I usually do shoots in woodland, with lots of trees but I wanted to take this opportunity to do something a bit different and have a different back drop than normal. I will definitely be using this location again, because the sunset was beautiful over the top of the hill. (mountain!).
Take a look at a few of the images from the shoot…
